Abstract: The work addressed current issues of increasing the reliability and, thus, the efficiency of the use of career auto-transport in mining enterprises. The reliability of quarry dumps, characterized by the number of failures of their elements and the coefficient of readiness. The values of these indicators depend on the operating conditions of the dump trucks, in particular, on how loaded the dump truck is and on the capacity of the excavator bucket used during loading. In addition, the work addressed issues such as the impact on the parameters of mining equipment and the value of the optimal loading level of a dump truck for the density and degree of loosening of rocks.
