Abstract: The features of the interaction of the bearing surface of the dragline as it moves are considered. It has been shown that the base edge resting occurs over the area of a circular segment. It is shown that when calculating the load on the base, it is necessary to take into account the displacement of the point of application of the resultant normal reactions to the center of the base.
