Abstract: The geokhod’s drive section takes the forces transmitted from the cutting drum. The article considers the influence of several factors on the transmitted power parameters, such as the direction of the cutting drums rotation (with a constant direction of rotation of the geokhod’s drive section) and the installation scheme of the cutting drums. The most rational drum installation scheme and the direction of rotation for receiving the minimum loadings on geokhod transmissions are defined.
