Abstract: In article the analysis of modern state of the art and technology of the modern world level of development in the field of creating mining trucks with energy storage, made by Pro-ject "Creating high-tech production of a family of robotic career self-Svalov capacity up to 90 t, with an Electromechanical transmission based on digital technology." The main manufacturers of quarry equipment of leading manufacturers with energy storage devices intended for open-pit mining are shown. To set the goal and task of the study, the main prerequisites for the development and creation of robotic mining dump trucks with a load capacity of up to 90 tons with an Electromechanical transmission are justified. Conclusions are drawn on the confirmation of the need for the development and creation of electric dump trucks.
