Abstract: Currently, the design of the electrical complex of coal mine extraction areas is carried out according to outdated regulatory documents, formed in the early 90s of the 20th-century. It slows down the implementation of the “digital mining enterprise” concept and does not fully realize the potential for energy savings. At the same time, the development of digital technologies makes relevant the simulation computer modeling issues for the electrical complex of coal mine extraction areas. Simulation computer modeling is necessary for the development of measures to improve the efficiency of the electrical complex of existing coal mines, as well as in the design of new coal mines.
The article proposes a methodology for the formation of simulation computer models to assess the energy efficiency of the power supply system of a coal mine extraction area. To ensure the correctness of the formation of consumption profiles of active and reactive power, the authors proposed to use a scenario approach to modeling dynamic processes. As an example of using the proposed approach, one of the scenarios for the operation of the electrical complex of an excavation site of one of the coal mines of Kuzbass is considered.
