Abstract: This paper presents the analysis of water from the fire-fighting pipeline of coal mines, which enters the hydraulic system of mechanized complexes. The negative consequences of the use of mine water without preliminary preparation for the operation of mechanized supports and the hydraulic system as a whole are given. An analytical review of the factors leading to disturbances in the operation of hydraulic systems, including the presence of insoluble salts and electrochemical corrosion, is shown. The requirements for process water according to regulatory documents are given. A brief analysis of the existing methods of water treatment with their inherent advantages and disadvantages is given. The results of the practical application of filter units in the hydraulic systems of the treatment mechanized complexes of V. D. Yalevsky mine and A. D. Ruban mine are presented. The results of the study allow us to reliably justify rational methods of water treatment, taking into account the use of filter units in the hydraulic systems of mechanized complexes for production faces. The introduction of filter systems with membrane technologies allows us to increase the service life of hydraulic system elements, and also to reduce the number of unplanned downtime and reduce the cost of their maintenance.
