Abstract: One of the most important redistributions at ore-processing plant JSC Lebedinsky GOK is a concentrate drying complex. The issue of optimizing the thermal modes of drying drums, in particular maximizing productivity and minimizing fuel consumption (natural gas), has a significant economic and practical value. Basic idea of the paper is creation of an adaptive automated system for optimizing the combustion process of the fuel of a drying drum, using the method for evaluating the composition of combustion products in exhaust gases. The technical solution has been proposed that allows us to optimize gas consumption at the maximum productivity of the drying drums of the con-centrate drying complex of the ore-concentration plant of JSC "Lebedinsky GOK"
