Abstract: In this project, the robotic dump trucks on the basis of BELAZ dump trucks are considered. The current problem of all enterprises engaged in the transportation of inert materials-the lack of personnel. Modern profes-sional educational institutions, in addition to the lack of the necessary technical equipment, face an insurmountable obstacle in the form of legis-lation that does not allow students to enter the driver's cab. Purely theoret-ical training of drivers does not meet the requirements of the enterprise. There are also less objective reasons why drivers are reluctant to settle for the transportation of rock mass. The paper addresses these and other prob-lems that lead mining companies to the need to robotize their production facilities. Special attention is paid to the increased safety of the production process, which is best achieved only in the complete absence of people. A possible solution is the use of fully autonomous dump trucks. The parts of the robotic complex of the fifth level of automation, components and assem-blies, and the software used are considered in detail. Conclusions are drawn on the possible economic benefits for the enterprise from the use of robotic dump trucks and on increasing the safety of production.
