Abstract: The analysis of approaches to the study and calculation of the repair manufacturability of excavators of cyclic action of domestic production is presented, the main indicators are identified that allow us to assess the operational and economic aspects of repair manufacturability: repair time, labor costs for performing repair operations and the cost of money for repairing equipment. The methodological approach to detailing the excavator as a technical system is analyzed, which allows taking into account the real possibilities of high-quality performance of all excavator repair operations. Methods are proposed that allow the formation of high-quality initial information for the analysis and calculation of repair technology: the method of continuous and selective observations, the method of periodic observations and the method of instant observations. An approach to qualitative and quantitative analysis of the repair technology of assembly units of single-bucket excavators of cyclic action is presented, including all components that allow a qualitative approach to the stage of developing technological maps (regulations) for the repair of machines and, with a high degree of probability, standardize processes with high quality and acceptable costs. Examples of the development of technological maps (regulations) for domestic mining enterprises are given, which are successfully used in the repair services of main and auxiliary workshops as a material that allows you to plan repairs, calculate the number of participants in the process, select mechanization tools, devices and equipment, in addition, assess the knowledge of repair personnel of measures for safe performance work, determine labor costs and, then, pay for the results of work.
