Abstract: The article is devoted to the collection of experimental data during the operation of quarry dump trucks to further determine the load of the main components of rigid-frame dump trucks. The article highlights the relevance of collecting experimental data on the operation of mining dump trucks. The analysis of statistical data on the costs of operating mining dump trucks is presented. The object of the study is justified. The climatic and mining technical conditions of operation of mining dump trucks during testing are given. Based on the analysis of failure statistics during operation of rigid-frame mining dump trucks, it was revealed that the operating modes of a mining dump truck have a significant impact on the life of the chassis of the bearing system. As a result, the relationship between the movement parameters of a mining dump truck and the durability of its highly loaded components has been determined. There is a significant lack of data in the field of experimental data on dump truck driving modes. In order to obtain reliable data on the operating conditions of a dump truck, the authors collected experimental data during transportation operations for loading, transporting, and unloading minerals and overburden after drilling and blasting operations. The structure of methodological guidelines for the rational process of collecting operational loads is presented, as well as specifics on the choice of measuring equipment and test program. The results obtained from a serious foundation in the field of experimental research of mining equipment. The use of statistically justified load conditions at the design stage of dump truck mining systems is proposed as the main direction to reduce the tendency of highly loaded dump truck components to local cracking.
