Abstract: This article presents the data of statistical analysis of unproductive downtime of mining shovels of various types, operated in the conditions of the branch of the coal company "Kuzbassrazrezugol" "Taldinsky coal mine". The results of the analysis of the presented data allowed us to identify the main reasons for the failure of the equipment in operation and to propose a direction for improving the current system of technical maintenance and repair management, which in the long term will minimize the number of emergency failures of mining equipment and reduce the cost of coal mining. The main objective of the work is to identify the main groups of defects of various types of mining shovels, the development of which leads to the occurrence of emergency situations and the growth of unproductive downtime of the equipment in operation. In addition, it is necessary to conduct a comparative analysis of emergency, operational and technological downtime for hydraulic and electric mining shovels and to show the possibilities opened up by using the principles of vibration analysis to reduce the number of emergency situations and minimize the time spent on their elimination. To solve the tasks set within the framework of this work, methods of statistical analysis and vibration diagnostics were used. Analysis of statistical and diagnostic information obtained on the energy-mechanical equipment of mining shovels allowed the authors of this research to propose a solution to reduce the share of emergency downtime based on the principles of implementing an integrated approach to the analysis of vibration parameters and the use of new unified diagnostic criteria. The obtained results can be used to improve the current repair management system and predict the occurrence of unexpected situations.
