Abstract: One of the main reasons for the crisis in the Russian mining industry is the low technical level of mining machinery and mining equipment of domestic production, the continued increase in dependence on purchases and use of foreign technological equipment, low technological loads on purchased high-performance imported equipment, and the unprofitability of investments in automation of technological processes. The article considers modern geotechnologies of mechanized mining, analyzes the means of mechanization. The technological possibilities of geotechnologies and geotechnics, their advantages and disadvantages, and the field of rational application are outlined. In accordance with the priorities outlined in the Russian Coal Industry Development Program for the period up to 2035, ensuring Russia's competitiveness and technological leadership in the field of mining and mining engineering can be achieved through the development of scientific, theoretical and applied research in the field of geohopping technology and a new class of mining equipment, geohopping. Based on the research conducted in the article, it was revealed that the expansion of the field of possible application of geohopping technology and geohopping, integrated automation, robotics, the use of intelligent adaptive control systems and integration with digital platforms of mining enterprises in accordance with current trends in the digitalization of the mining industry should be carried out primarily through the development and improvement of active executive bodies of geohopping. The article analyzes the existing technical solutions of the executive bodies of geohouses, the specifics of their functioning, and the prospects for further development. The requirements justified in the article for the drive of active executive bodies of geohouses are the basis for the development of options for their technical solutions.
